Here's poor Patsy's situation. She and Greg dated for a while but then they decided to take a break from each other. Then Patsy got tired of waiting for him to come back to her and so, she told him she wanted to move on. Well, just as luck would have it, he starts dating poor Patsy's girlfriend, and now Patsy wants him back. To add to her pain, she still talks to Greg daily and he says he wants to continue to be in her life, but he won't break up with his new girlfriend for her. Next you'll read three possible solutions followed by an analysis as to which is the best course of action for her to take if she really wants to get Greg back in her arms. Approach One: Just throw your hands up in the air Patsy and forget every having him back. You messed up and now must pay the price, so just learn from your mistakes and move on. The mistake you made was not valuing what you had until it was gone. It happens so much in matters of the heart but you don't truly learn your lesson about it until it happens to YOU. Maybe you'll get over him in time or maybe not, but you'll have to live with it anyway. Approach Two: Try to analyze what went wrong with your relationship and determine how best you can please Greg in the future, so you can win him back. Make sure he doesn't forget about you by calling him at least 5 times a day and text message him in between calls. That way you might be able to interrupt him from enjoying his new girlfriend too. Don't forget to point out his new girlfriend's flaws every chance you get; there may be something he didn't notice. Approach Three: Let him know that you still have feelings for him, but only say it once. Then, appear to move on with you life completely while still keeping lines of communication open between you and him and his girlfriend. Let them both know about how happening you social life is and make sure to hang out with other friends as well. You want to seem mysterious, happy and attractive all at the same time. You must be strong no matter what. Weak and needy is no more attractive on a woman than it is on a man. ------------------------------------------------------------ So, what's the best approach? Approach number three is best by far. Approach number one does nothing to help poor Patsy. Approach number two will not work because attraction is a matter of the heart and you cannot reason your way back into someone's heart and smothering him will only drive him away. The best solution is for her to let him see what he's missing and let him know (even if she must pretend) that she's fine without him.
