Drying myself off after a refreshing morning shower a feeling came over me. I felt an inspiration. At least I think it was an inspiration, although it could have been an epiphany. Whichever, it was BIG; I could tell its size by the echo of the ideas footsteps running down the hall. I left the bathroom hastily to meet my inspiration. Unfortunately as I reached the corridor I inadvertently dropped my brush. You will note this happened to me precisely as the epiphany arrived at my location. Naturally I bent over to recover the fallen object. This was an unfortunate event for the inspiration, as it hurled past me screaming, “NOOOOO” and hit the wall with a sickening thud. I watched as the now splattered epiphany slowly slid down the wall to the floor. It came to rest and began whimpering softly. Hurriedly I walked past the epiphany recalling my lack of time. I quickly got dressed and preceded to the office giving my attention to more pressing matters, without a second thought to my idea. Unfortunately after several hours the inspiration had regained some strength and was determined to be heard. At first it started making odd sounds and banging on the wall. When this failed to work my thought started to verbally attack me. At one point the notion tried to call its lawyer. Fortunately the inspirations cell phone was damaged during the initial impact with the wall. Once the epiphany found this out, it began to generate an unbearable racket. My patience wearing thin I was forced to confront it. This is what the inspiration said to me, “I believe it’s time to write something for your blog” after it had delivered the point it softly sobbed and started to slowly fade away. For a moment I felt sorry for the inspiration as its life was ending, but the moment quickly passed and I raised my feet to my desk and gleefully watched it fade out of existence. OK now that you've reached the conclusion of the article my point is simple. You don't need to SELL anything to get traffic, if you have to sell, sell later. The first step in article marketing is getting your article read, and getting readers to visit your site, bother with the sales pitch later.
